ALL HAIL THE SS,
Wow, you guys are pretty darned entertaining I have got to say that. I really enjoyed the story you all spun for us. Each and every one of you has vibrant characters (well okay maybe vibrant is a poor choice of words to describe John Nightshade)
I have to ask Revmidni, did you know you were going to be hosting the podcast when you choose your initials?
I enjoy this version of Zo a great deal. It’s got a unique spice taking a familiar dish and giving it a flavor all it’s own. Well done Darfo. If I one piece of advice (or criticism if you will) it would be to not be afraid to let your players stew in their own juices. You have some talented and creative players, let them fail. I am sure that they can come up with alternate solutions (or spend their tightly hoarded hero points). I really did enjoy the story you laid out for the lads. And that creeptastic book is a very cool touch. I really enjoy listening to how it chronicles the adventures.
And to the lads, I do have to say that you have a really great chemistry going on there. Not only do the characters seem to fit together (despite being completely mismatched) in a true mission impossible, each man has skills which makes the whole greater than the sum of it’s parts, kind of way. But the goofy timing, comedic ribbing, and general (apparent) comfort level makes it hard to believe you guys haven’t been gaming together for years.
Oh yeah, and Revmidni, awesome job on the editing. Not only was it done with incredible speed, but the quality was magnificent. The levels were good, no pauses, no distracting unrelated sounds, there are very few actual play podcasts that achieve that level of quality. (well few that I’ve given a listen to, not that I’ve listened to tons, but there are quite a few I had to drop because of audio problems. ) Great job.
I am excited to see where your plucky band of idiosyncratic adventurers wind up next. Keep up the fun, and thank you for sharing.

Ummm, XOFour? I think your first sentence may have frightened away the Jewish listening audience…

Oh man, no that’s not what I meant. It was just the initials. I am really sorry. oh man. Sorry.

Awesome game! I loved all the characters especially that mouse fellow. He being the true hero and all, why does his sidekick talk so much? Can’t wait to listen to the res of it. Which wont be long seeing as this episode is old and I have some catching up to do.
